FoundationDB 6.3.24 Released
Published February 25, 2022FoundationDB 6.3.24 is now officially available (6.3.9 is the first stable 6.3 release)! This release focuses on improving the overall performance and reliability of the database.
The latest FoundationDB release can be downloaded and installed as binaries from the github downloads page (available for macOS and Linux), or as source from our GitHub repository. If you're already running FDB, also see our upgrade instructions.
Some highlights from this release include:
- Improved the client’s load balancing algorithm: so that each proxy processes an equal number of requests.
- Added transaction tagging: client can set arbitrary tags on transactions and tags can be automatically throttled by ratekeeper.
- Improved GRV tail latencies: by fixing performance bugs.
